Precer soon to offer biofuel conversion of vehicles
{mosimage} Within a near future, people who yearn to drive without leaving an ugly carbon footprint behind will be able to convert their old vehicles to various types of biofuel solutions. Incubator company Precer is going to offer conversion of small and midsized vehicles, adapted to the specific needs of every individual customer.– We find it tremendously important to provide alternatives to the fossil fuels that have dominated the fuel market up until now, says Martin Larsson, managing director of Precer.
The technology is not only environmentally friendly. It will also be quite affordable. All according to Martin Larsson, who has developed the technology that enables conversion to biofuels.
The conversion technology will be further elaborated in a newly-formed subsidiary of the Precer Group, Precer Autotech Innovation. The subsidiary will make a careful needs analysis for every customer.
– Our analysis will cover both environmental and financial aspects, so that we can follow up by presenting propositions for biofuel conversion to the customers. Our aim is for this work to start already in 2009, Martin explains.
Incubator company Precer has developed a technology that includes the use of solid biofuels, such as pellets, to power hybrid vehicles. The technology can also be applied to small-scale combined heat and power stations.
