Kicking off the autumn with the Inova Incubator companies

On Monday, 6 September, Inova’s staff got together with the Incubator companies for a joint autumn kickoff. The event was the first part of a series of seminars called Inova Drive.

“This evening sure gave us energy for the autumn! It’s also a perfect opportunity to really talk with the people you just say hi to in the hallway,” says Anna Ociansson of Noboxsolutions.

After some introductory words from Inova’s managing director Britt Lööv, attention was focused on Inova’s new business advisors. Fredrik Sjövall, who has himself completed the journey from the incubator environment at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, to the position as managing director of a successful pharmaceutical company, shared his best advice.

“Get to know yourself, make sure you have your stuff in good order, and don’t be afraid to delegate work tasks and responsibilities. And don’t forget to celebrate – often! Those were some of the valuable tips Fredrik distributed to the participants.

After that, Kerstin Wramstedt spoke about the importance of conscious and active pricing. ‘Who and what decides the price?’ was the starting point for the discussion that followed. Kerstin showed various models, and the participants got a chance to elaborate on their own experiences.

“It’s great to see all the drive and energy in the companies for the autumn. We have an exciting time ahead of us. Several companies are about to meet the market, and new business concepts are on their way into the Incubator,” says Britt Lööv.

The evening session ended with a dinner, where the Incubator companies had another opportunity to exchange experiences.

Inova Drive is a meeting point for the Inova Incubator companies. For every meeting, Inova invites guests with expert knowledge of hot topics. The purpose is to inspire, build networks and share valuable information with the companies in the Incubator.
