Irish investor pays visit to Inova

{mosimage}He has already invested in Värmland, and he now wants to go for new promising objects. Therefore, Irish investor Sam Roch-Perks spent half the time of his one-day visit to Sweden at Inova. The purpose was to meet innovative companies and projects, primarily in the energy sector.
Not only Swedish, but also foreign, capital is interested in Inova. That became apparent on 6 February, when Sam Roch-Perks came to Sweden. It was the contacts with Inva (Investera i Värmland – “Invest in Värmland”) that opened the Irish investor’s eyes to Inova.

Previously, Mr Roch-Perks has primarily invested in real estate, but in the current financial situation, his interest in the energy sector has grown. He and his partners see a major need for development in the field of energy, not least in Ireland, where 90% of the energy consumed is imported. They have found great potential in Swedish innovations in that sector.

– Sam contacted us and explained that he, together with other investors in his network, wished to establish contacts with new projects in Värmland. When I told him about Inova, he wanted to come here to learn more. For that same reason, he chose to spend most of the time at Inova, explains Mattias Sundholm of Inva.

The contacts resulted in meetings with three projects/companies at Inova.
