Enter ñ Drivhuset starts training for future business

{mosimage}A bright idea is not enough to become a successful business owner. Having basic know-how of running a business is a prerequisite for success. That is the firm belief of Drivhuset (“The Greenhouse”) in Karlstad, and the reason why the university-based foundation starts an entrepreneurship training programme in February, to prepare new business owners for their new role.
– Through Enter, we offer fundamental knowledge to people who want to start their own business, says Erik Ceder, project manager at Drivhuset and the man behind the Enter initiative.

Enter primarily addresses students, but also other business owners in Värmland. During the 15-week programme, external lecturers will share their knowledge in areas useful to the students – be it fiscal laws, branding or presentation techniques. But networking and mingle luncheons are also on the schedule.
– Enter will not only provide the participants with information, but also new contacts and inspiration. Plus, it will be a way for the entrepreneurs to market their new businesses to people in the same situation, explains Carl Karlsson, project manager for Enter.

Carl Karlsson is currently busy finalising the schedule by contacting external lecturers. He finds it important to have fresh knowledge served by experienced professionals. At the same time, discussions and exchange of experience between the participants will be a natural part of the lectures.
– The idea is for Enter to be the type of training that lets the students benefit from every class. It can be pure insight or new contacts from the private industry, he says. Drivhuset’s mission is to act as an advisor and contact-maker, and to be a speaking partner for students with business concepts.

Through Enter, Drivhuset will be able to offer even better opportunities for an idea holder to succeed. – We can now provide both students and external business owners with a knowledge base to face the new challenges as business owners. That way, we can help Värmland build more muscles for the current situation, Carl Karlsson wraps up. The course has 30 places, of which 20 are reserved for university students and 10 for external participants.

The fee is SEK 300 for students and SEK 1,500 for other business owners. The course starts on 23 February. For more information and to enrol, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
