Precerís pellet-powered vehicles draw huge attention
{mosimage}Directly after RAMP07, one of Sweden’s major technology magazines published an article about Precer, a company participating in the event. It became one of the most popular articles on the magazine’s website during week 43, and the rumour about the pellet-powered hybrid vehicle from Karlstad then spread quickly.
– Precer’s website has had visitors from all over the world, and the interest has been enormous, says Precer founder Martin Larsson.
It became clear that the concept of biofuel and new automotive technology fascinates a vast group of people. The media attention has been intense ever since Precer officially presented its innovative technology at RAMP07. The company was exposed already at previous year’s RAMP event, and it turned out a great deal had happened during the year.
– Not only have we come up with the first vehicle based on the technology – we’ve also formed a company and tied several important partners to it, Martin Larsson explains.
He asserts that now that the idea has developed into a complete prototype, it is much easier for stakeholders to understand the technology and find an interest in it. As a consequence, several potential co-operation partners have become aware of the new automotive approach. Martin Larsson now wants to tie the right people to the company as soon as possible.
– That will allow us to refine the technology faster and introduce Precer’s sustainable vehicle concept to the market. Both people and environment have much to gain from that, he rounds off.
