Precer training brings order into the fuel jungle
The supply of fossil fuels is running out and we must choose more sustainable alternatives. But what alternative is the most suitable is not self-evident; it depends on factors like supply, driving habits and geographic location. That is well known to Precer, so the company has started a unique course to spread information about the matter.
- Many people make rushed decision when they choose technology for alternative fuels. We want to provide the knowledge required for every person to be able to pick the most appropriate solution, says Martin Larsson, managing director of Precer.
Precer's training will let students know what characterises the different types of biofuels and hybrid technologies. In other words, it will make people better prepared for their choice of more sustainable technological solutions. And that is a choice that cannot wait much longer.
- We're running out of time. In about thirty to fifty years, the reserves of fossil fuels will have diminished, which of course makes them very expensive, explains Martin.
Precer is a company that develops technical solutions for small-scale electricity generation using solid biofuels such as pellets.
But the training provided by Precer is not entirely focused on the company's own technology. It is broader, giving overall knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of the different forms of fuel and the hybrid technology on the market.
- This way, we want to make the participants understand that, for example, an ethanol car can be an excellent choice for one person but be less suitable for another, Martin continues.
Precer's own technology has got a lot of attention for its potential, very much depending on the fact that the supply of fuel for the systems is secured wherever you live, and it can also be locally produced from the vegetable fibres available.
The course takes one day. It addresses everyone who wants basic knowledge of solid biofuels and hybrid technology. The next course takes place on 28 January in Karlstad. For more information and to enrol, please send an e-mail to
